Double Board-Certified and Fellowship-Trained Dermatologist & Micrographic Dermatologic (Mohs) Surgeon
Dr. Park graduated from the exclusive 6-year BS/MD program at the Northeast Ohio Medical University where she also earned her Certificate in Bioethics. She completed her internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan in New York City.
She moved to Chicago for dermatology residency at Loyola University Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. During her residency, she was twice named a national Resident of Distinction.
Dr. Park completed the Psoriasis, Phototherapy, and Clinical Research Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco, the Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at the Skin Institute of South Florida, and the Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at Hollywood Dermatology. Dr. Park also earned her Master of Studies in Law degree at the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
She is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Northeastern Ohio Medical University and Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University of Chicago.
She has authored well over 50 peer‐reviewed journal articles and book chapters in her areas of expertise, including Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatologic surgery, psoriasis, phototherapy, and vitiligo. She has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, and British Journal of Dermatology. She serves as Associate Editor for the International Journal of Women's Dermatology. Dr. Park is the editor of two books: Vitiligo: Management and Therapy and Contemporary Diagnosis and Management in Dermatoprevention: Psoriasis and Its Comorbidities.
Dr. Park has lectured and presented at local, national, and international conferences including the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Annual Meeting, and the World Congress of Dermatology Meeting.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. She is double board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Park was chosen to participate in the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery’s Future Leaders Network program. She has served on the Regulatory Policy Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Education Work Group for the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the National Registry Outcomes Committee of the American College of Mohs Surgery. She currently serves on the Coding and Reimbursement Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Journal Awards Work Group of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Audit Committee of the Womens Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Park has also worked as an attending dermatologist and micrographic dermatologic (Mohs) surgeon at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital since 2017. She currently serves as the Surgical Director for the Loyola Dermatology Residency Program. She is also a dermatologist at the Capt. James Lovell Federall Health Care Center. She is a Mohs micrographic surgeon at Illinois Dermatology Institute.
